/Friends and family have given us such nice outfits and early on I naively packed away many clothes thinking, oh, these are waay too big! And only later I realize that he has already outgrown many of them. Oops!

With maternity and nursing clothes, I really haven't worn some of my outfits in over a year! With a new baby, it seems like all day long you're buying stuff... just not for yourself.
It's amazing when your baby goes down by himself without you doing anything! My husband and I have a little dance we do.
I still have a fear that one of the plastic tabs will fly off somewhere and will wind up in my little guy's mouth!
Really, what else is there to do at 3am besides online shopping? I can't believe some of the stuff would show up that afternoon!
As the little guy is now on solids, these happen less now, but they can be epic!
Regularly using the pump and listening to its woo-wha sounds nonstop, you feel like it's talking to you. I've definitely put a pillow on it to drown out the noise when I'm on the phone!

I do a lot of walking these days for sure, but sometimes just rocking him gives me points too, ha!
I'm always trying to keep the sun off his face! When I walk with my husband, I'm darting from one side to the other, probably looking ridiculous to others.
The joys of baby fingernail trimming. It's like the scarlet letter of parenting- scratches right on the face saying "oops, yes, I did not trim his nails." I had to do this multiple times a week!
The first time he slept 8+ hours I woke up to check on him and stayed awake in disbelief!
I think about month 3-4 I lost so much hair I got a special drain cover for the shower. My little guy still has the bald spot 6 months in!
I originally thought my hand numbness was an epidural side effect! Don't Google "hand numbness" (or anything, really) because you always assume the worst reading that stuff.
Rings, necklaces, knees cracking... all would wake up the baby!
