I always tried to make the clothes last just a little longer! One, out of laziness, but two, I didn't want to admit my little baby was growing so fast.
We tend to keep track of all of baby's milestones, but us parents have them too! I think that pregnancy line faded for me around 6 months.
Throwback to the delivery! Our little guy looks just like daddy.
I feel like my husband and I are constantly updating our communication and vocab as new parents, including using new emojis!
Thought I'd make this comic in color, his first birthday is such a milestone! Sometimes you feel like you just want to pause time. -And that's why I started this comic. It helps me save these little moments and am thankful for the memories.
That time when you make that dish that actually requires a recipe, and they won't have anything to do with it! ... and he always has room for lint
I had too many ideas so drew up some more in addition to the last comic!
Anyone want to invest in these ideas? ;)
I really should try to do more things left handed to balance it out!
No pain no gain for baby! I didn't include clogged ducts and many others. As we're coming up on a year I'll miss breastfeeding but not these.
Glad he likes the chip bag and not the chips! (those are for me). The water bottle is one of his favs.
He of course loved the packaging and wrapping more than the actual gifts! The holidays are so different now with a little one; definitely more memorable :)
He definitely said "Dada" first, and "Mama" came later, usually with wanting something! I guess I'll take what I can get.
Sleep training is hard! Sometimes I think he is training me. :)
Funny how I got caught up in milestones and thought he was “behind.” Before you know it, they start doing the thing you wanted them to, and you kind of miss the days they didn’t!
I got a magnetic sign and would put it on if I had the baby in the car. For me, it was a preventative "sorry!" in case I was super slow or doing things like trying to rock the car at a stop light!
Ha, teething is my answer to everything. Yeah, okay, so he only has one, but they say some take months to come in! :)
I couldn't believe that I wouldn't see the doctor for two whole months at the beginning, and even made an appointment at three months to see her for some random reason. But, funny how you do get the hang of it!
I probably ask him where his socks are at least five times a day! I should just get all the same ones, but baby socks are so cute!
